What is Symbiosis Law Entrance Test (SLAT)?
SLAT also known as The Symbiosis Law Entrance Test is a common entrance exam for getting admission in 4 Symbiosis Law Schools which are SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad and SLS Nagpur. The courses for which admission is offered are BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BA LLB and BBA LLB.
A candidate needs to register for SLAT 2024 and also register for institutes offering his or her choice of programmes by paying separate programmed registration fees. If the candidate gets shortlisted then he/she would need to attend for further admission process conducted by each of the institutes individually.
Who Conducts SLAT Entrance Exam?
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts SLAT Annually. The university is also known as SIU. SIU is a prestigious institution in India . The exam is a computer based test mode. The duration of the test is 60 minutes and there are 60 MCQs of 60 marks in the test. Based on the scores of the SLAT candidates are shortlisted.

The SLAT 2024 Eligibility criteria is explained below
Academic Qualification
Qualifying exam: Class (10+2) completed from any recognized state or national exam boards with compulsory English as a subject.
Minimum marks in Qualifying exam: Minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes). Candidates who appeared for Class 12 exam or are pursuing class 12 can also apply for SLAT 2024. But they need their class 12 results at the time of admission to 5 year LLB course through SLAT 2024.
Nationality : SLAT is open to Indian nationals as well as international students and non-resident Indians
Age Limit : There is generally no specific upper limit for candidates applying for SLAT.
