Top Law Entrance Exams

CLAT 2025 Law Entrance Exam

CLAT 2025 notification will be released soon by the CLAT Consortium. The entrance test will be conducted at the 22 participating National Law Universities (NLUs). CLAT 2025 will be held in offline, pen and paper format. The CLAT 2025 and exam pattern will largely remain unchanged. CLAT 2025 Exam Date will be in December 2025 Tentatively.

The total number of questions in the undergraduate and post-graduate exams is 150 and 120, respectively. Exam duration is of 2 hours. The question paper of CLAT for UG courses is based on five subjects i.e. English Language, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques.

Whereas, CLAT question paper for PG courses is based on law subjects including Constitutional Law, Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, IPR and Jurisprudence, as well as, Law topics and Contemporary issues.

AILET 2024 Law Entrance Exam

AILET is a national level All India Law Entrance Test conducted by the National Law University Delhi every year for admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons), LL.M. and Ph.D. Programmes offered by the National Law University Delhi.

The B.A.LLB is a five-year duration program at the National Law University, Delhi. As per the pattern, the AILET Entrance Exam for the BA LLB course comprises three sections: Section A: English Language, Section B: Current Affairs & General Knowledge, Section C: Logical Reasoning

The question paper shall include 150 MCQ questions, each with one mark. Also, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrongly answered question.

The exam is conducted in offline mode, and the duration of the exam is 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes). As per the new pattern, authorities may use legal principles in the logical reasoning section to test your familiarity with legal reasoning. However, the entrance exam will not require prior law knowledge or a technical understanding of legal principles/terms.

SLAT 2024 Law Entrance Exam

SLAT also known as The Symbiosis Law Entrance Test is a common entrance exam for getting admission in 4 Symbiosis Law Schools which are SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad and SLS Nagpur. The courses for which admission is offered are BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BA LLB and BBA LLB.

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts SLAT Annually.  The university is also known as SIU. SIU is a prestigious institution in India . The exam is a computer based test mode. The duration of the test is 60 minutes and there are 60 MCQs of  60 marks in the test. Based on the scores of the SLAT candidates are shortlisted.

LSAT 2024 Law Entrance Exam

The Law School Admission test (LSAT) is usually given by the aspirants who want to pursue law education outside India, mainly in U.S.A, Canada and Australia. However, one can apply in selected law colleges within India.

Pearson VUE has opened the LSAT India 2024 registration window on August 14, 2023. The LSATIndia application form 2024 can be filled out and submitted on its official website. lsatindia.in. This year, Pearson VUE will conduct LSAT India in the months of January and May.  The LSAT India January exams will be conducted on January 20 and January 21, in remote proctored mode. The LSAT India May exams will be held from May 16 to May 19, in multiple slots. The scores of LSATIndia 2024 will be accepted by around 15 private law schools in the country.

The entire exam is divided into 3 types of sections compromising of Analytical reasoning, Reading Comprehension and Logical reasoning. Note that there are two sections on logical reasoning. There is no negative marking. Test scores will be provided as a scaled score between 420 and 480, a score band, along with percentile rank.

MH CET Law 2024 Law Entrance Exam

The MH CET 3-year LLB 2024 exam will take place on March 11 and March 13, 2024, conducted online. For the 5-year LLB program, the MH CET Law 2024 exam will be held from May 07 to May 08, with multiple shifts.

The exam will be conducted in an online computer-based mode (CBT) across the country. The exam duration is 120 minutes. All questions in MH CET Law 2024 will be multiple choice questions and candidates will have to select one option. The exam will have 150 questions. Candidates will have the option to choose the medium of the exam, whether Marathi or English. One mark will be given for each correct answer. The exam has no negative marking, so the candidate can attempt all of the questions without the fear of losing any marks.

DU LLB Exam Law Entrance Exam

DU LLB Exam is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to the 3-years of DU LLB courses. The exam is organized once a year at the national level. DU LLB Exam application forms may commence from the month of May tentatively.

DU LLB Entrance Exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English with a total of 100 multiple-choice objective-type questions.

The duration of DU LLB Entrance Exam is 2 hours (120 minutes). The admission to LL.B. course shall be made on the basis of merit in the LL.B. Entrance Test.

AIBE 2024 Law Entrance Exam

The exam is a multiple-choice exam that is conducted over a period of three and a half hours. Each question will have four answer options, out of which, one will be the true answer. The exam covers a wide range of topics, including civil law, criminal law, constitutional law, and procedural law. There are 100 questions for 100 marks.
