In the event that two or more candidates achieve the same score in CLAT Result 2025, the Consortium will determine the merit rank using the following tie-breaker sequence:

For CLAT UG:

1. Higher marks in the Legal Reasoning section of CLAT 2025
2. Higher age
3. Computerized draw of lots

CLAT 2025 Merit List

The CLAT 2025 Merit List will be published in PDF format on the official website. It will feature candidates’ names listed according to their ranks and will include the following details:

• The candidate’s overall performance and state rank
• The total number of candidates who appeared for the exam
• The criteria for applicant selection

Additionally, the merit list will contain information such as All India Ranks (AIRs), roll numbers, and total marks. All candidates listed in the merit list are eligible to participate in the CLAT 2025 counseling for seat allocation at National Law Universities (NLUs).
