CLAT Cut Off 2023 list is the minimum mark that is needed to score to become eligible for UG and PG courses offered by the NLUs in India
The participating NLUs declare the CLAT Cut Off every year to conduct round-wise counselling to select the candidates for the final admission process.
The candidates may know that the cut-off for CLAT Exam is released separately for UG and PG courses, as well as each candidate’s category, including Open, PwD, SC, ST, and OBC. Anyone receiving a mark or rank below the CLAT Cut Off is often not admitted to their top-choice law colleges because it is the minimum requirement for admission.
After the consortium of NLUs presents the results, the CLAT conducting body will announce the CLAT Cut Off 2024. The expected CLAT Cut Off 2024 will be disclosed subsequent to the release of the answer keys.
The question paper format of the CLAT Exam 2024 will differ from previous exams as it will contain a reduced number of questions. Consequently, it is anticipated that the CLAT Cut Off 2024 will be higher.
CLAT 2024 counseling will be conducted in three rounds. Even if a candidate fails to meet the CLAT Cut Off 2024 in the first or second round of counseling, they remain eligible to participate in subsequent rounds. However, if a candidate doesn’t advance to the next round, they will not have another opportunity.
CLAT 2023 was conducted on December 18, 2022. For the CLAT exam, the CLAT 2023 Cut off list is based on All India Ranks. For the general category, the CLAT Cut Off often falls between 95 and 100, whereas for the SC/ST category, it typically falls between 80 and 85.

Factors Affecting CLAT Cut off list Marks
The Consortium of NLUs will consider the following factors to determine the CLAT 2023 Cut off list
The total number of applicants: The total number of applications received is another factor affecting the CLAT cut-off, if the number of applications is low then the cut-off would be low
Number of students who qualified for the exam: The number of candidates appearing for the exam affects the cut-off, more the number of candidates more is the cut-off rank.
The total number of seats available: The number of seats available in all CLAT campuses for different programs, if the availability of seats is more then the cut-off would be relaxed.
The difficulty level of the paper: The difficulty level of the exam and the candidate’s performance in it also determine the cut-off of that year. If the exam is difficult and the candidates don’t perform very well in it, the cut-off rank would be comparatively lower.
Reservation Policy: The reservation policy implemented by the participating institutes plays a significant role in determining the CLAT Cut Off 2024. Each NLU has its own reservation policy that varies across states. This means that candidates from specific states may have a certain percentage of seats reserved for them in a particular NLU. The reservation policy directly affects the CLAT Cut Off 2024 for each category of candidates.
By considering these factors, the participating institutes establish the CLAT Cut Off 2024 which serves as an important criterion for admission to law courses.2023
