What Is BHU LLB Exam?

BHU LLB Exam Date 2024 will be announced recently. Banaras Hindu University conducts university level entrance exam called UET, PET and RET for candidates seeking admission in various UG, PG and Research Programmes. The admission procedure is regulated for admission in various offered programmes of Management, law, arts, commerce etc. fields at BHU University.

Banaras Hindu University is situated in the city of Varanasi. Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya founded this university in 1916. BHU played an inspiring role in the independence movement. It has produced many great freedom fighters and builders of modern India and has immensely contributed to the progress of the nation

The university comprises 6 Institutes, 14 Faculties 144 Departments, 4 Inter displinary Centers a constituent college for women’s and 3 Constituents Schools, spanning a vast range of subjects pertaining to all branches of humanities, social science, technology, medicine ,science, fine arts and performing arts.

It has 6 centres of Advanced Studies, 10 Departments under Special Assistance Programme and a large number of specialized Research Centers. Four Degree Colleges of the city are affiliated to the University.

BHU LLB Exam Admissions

The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) holds two entrance exams: UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) and PET (Postgraduate Entrance Test). BHU conducts two Undergraduate Entrance Tests (UET) during April / May in every year for the purpose of admissions in two different kinds of LL.B. Courses. Candidates can take admissions according to their scores as well as eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification of the UET. Candidate’s admission will also depend on the number of seats available in respective courses.

National Testing Agency will soon post the BHU LLB 2024 Notification (Law Entrance Exam) online. The institution will begin the BHU LLB Registration 2024 for its three-year LLB programme in February 2024

BHU LLB Exam Courses

1. BHU LL B (Hons)  3 Years

BHU conducts Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) during 3rd /4th week of May every year for admission in LL.B. (Hons) Three year course. There are a total of 230 seats. Candidate need to go through all the important details to avoid confusion and have a clear understanding about the exam.

BHU LLB Exam Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have completed a BA, B.Sc., B.Com, or any equivalent examination from a recognized institution or institute.

A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate considering all the subjects in the three years except those subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the total in the final (degree) mark sheet.

Applicants must be under the age of thirty to apply for the examination

BHU LLB Exam 3 Year Pattern

There shall be one Paper of 120 minutes (Two hours) duration carrying 450 marks containing 150 multiple-choice questions. These questions shall be based on General Awareness and Current Affairs, Common Legal Knowledge, Aptitude and Mental Ability. The Paper will also include two sets of multiple choice questions on Language comprehension, one each in Hindi and English, where the candidate is required to answer either the Hindi language set or the English language set but not both.

2. BHU  BA LL B (Hons) 5 years

BHU conducts Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) during 3rd /4th week of May every year for admission in BA LL.B. (Hons) Five year course. There are a total of Minimum 30 and Maximum 60 seats. Candidate need to go through all the important details to avoid confusion and have a clear understanding about the exam.

BHU  BA LL B (Hons) Exam Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must have completed HSC examinations or any comparable exam in any stream from a recognised university

However, the applicant who have obtained 10+2 through open Universities System directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies shall not be eligible for admission to 5-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Course

Applicants who desire to apply for the entrance examination must have obtained a minimum of 50% (45% for OBC class candidates and 40% for SC, ST class applicants) in their qualifying exams.

Applicants must be at least twenty years old to apply for the examination.

Applicants who are currently completing their HSC final test are also eligible to apply for the test

BHU  BA LL B (Hons) Exam Pattern

BHU LLB Exam 2024 Registration

The BHU LLB Registration 2024 for undergraduate courses (UET) will commence in February 2024 and end in March 2024. Candidates must finish their fee payments by March 2024. The application process will reopen temporarily for changes in April 2024, followed by the availability of admission cards in May 2024

BHU LLB Exam Application Form

Candidates should be well aware of the application form and how to fill it in the right way. Many a times candidates commit some silly mistakes which leads to cancelation of the application form. To help the candidates to avoid anu confusion with respect to the application form, here’s a step by step guide on how to fill the application form:

Step 1: Candidates will fill out the application form online at the university’s official website.

Step 2: Visit BHU’s official website, bhu.ac.in, and click on the “New Registration” option. Fill out the registration form with all of the essential information

Step 3: Submit the registration form and make a note of the system-generated application number for future reference.

Step 4: Candidates must check in to the admission portal with their application number, registered email address, and mobile number.

Step 5: Candidates must fill the complete application form with all of the details. Candidates must submit scanned images of their photographs and signatures in JPEG format.

Step 6: Candidates are advised to obtain a copy of the fully completed application form before submitting it. Applicants do not submit a duplicate application form to the university.

Step 7: Applicants must pay the application fees after completing the application form.
