– In the year 2024, the highest score for CLAT UG has been 108.
– While for CLAT 2024 PG, the highest score stands at 104.25.
– The overall attendance in CLAT 2024 stood at 96.45%.

What is the Merit List and Invite List in CLAT 2024?
Along with declaring the result, the Consortium of National Law Universities also creates a merit list. A “merit list” is simply the list of all candidates who appeared for CLAT in the order of their rankings. In case of a tie, the appropriate tie breaking rules are applied. Coming to the latter, “invite list” is the list prepared by the Consortium that includes the list of shortlisted candidates who have been invited for counselling. If you’re curious about what the invite list for this year looks like – the number of names included in the list are 5 times the number of vacant seats. For CLAT PG, there are 4,000 candidates while for CLAT UG, there are 15,000 names on the said list.
What is the CLAT Result 2024 Tie-Breaker Rule?
The tie-breaker rule demands that the following criteria would be used to resolve the situation of a tie.
So, what does the tie-breaker rule say? It says that:
– In case two students have the same marks, the one with a higher score in the legal section will be awarded a higher rank.
– If the legal section is not able to resolve the tie, the ages of the two candidates will be compared and a higher rank will be awarded to the more senior candidate.
– If the tie is still unresolved by both legal section score and age, then a computerized draw will be done to determine the ranks of the candidates in question.

Until the merit list is released by the Consortium, there’s no sure fire way of determining your rank, but a peek into the previous year ranks against the marks scored can give you a solid idea of what your ranking might look like:
