Maharashtra Civil Judge Salary
On joining the commission, all candidates will be eligible for an annual Maharashtra Civil Judge salary package of Rs.3,32,400/- to Rs.5,36,400/-. As we all are aware that salary structure contains various components and therefore the annual in-hand civil judge salary is granted according to the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) Pay Scale of Rs.27,700/- to Rs.47,700/-
All the candidates are also entitled with a number of benefits and various allowances. Please keep in mind that, the salary packages are under the subjugation to changes as per the formal notifications released by MPSC official website.
This salary will be incremented with the duration of the period served by the candidates in the commission.

Maharashtra Civil Judge Job Profile
Civil Judge has a very important role to play in the judicial system. Civil Judge will have to fulfil a lot of roles and responsibilities. -The Civil Judge is responsible for attending to the judgment of all civil cases ranging from land acquisition to election petition inclusive of Zila Panchayat, claiming of petitions, motor accidents and several other cases.
-The Civil Judge also holds the power to appoint Junior Division employees of Class III and IV of Maharashtra Judiciary.
-They also hold the power of passing the pay bills of subordinate authority to them.
-Civil Judge concludes the civil cases inclusive of the financial stake.
-They also hold the power to resolve the criminal cases that are punishable with imprisonment of up to 3 years.

Candidates will be required to go through a preliminary test, mains and an interview round to finally get appointed for the Maharashtra Civil Judge job profile.
1. Preliminary Exam – objective type – which is used only for shortlisting candidates for the mains exam and not in the final ranking.

Maharashtra Civil Judge Exam Eligibility
-Applicant must be a citizen of India.
-Candidate must have acquired a bachelor degree in law from a recognized institute or university.
-The age of the candidates must be less than or equal to 35 years as on the date mentioned in the official advertisement
-Candidates belonging to SC and ST category will get 3 years relaxation in their upper age
