TS LAWCET is a state level entrance test conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. It is also known as Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test
Candidates who wish to seek admission to many governments as well as private universities in Telangana state can apply for the exam and get into their dream law school.
TS LAWCET 2024 Registration has been started on 1st March 2024. The exam date for the said exam has also been announced and it will be held on 3rd June 2024. Exam will be held through online mode The exam is conducted for admission into 3 year / 5 year LLB courses
For admission to and LLM courses at colleges recognised by TSCHE, TS PGLCET 2024 will be conducted. The exam date for TS PGLCET 2024 exam is also June 3, 2024.

TS LAWCET 2024 Exam Pattern
TS LAWCET is a moderate level test which has a clear goal of evaluating the candidate’s ability and aptitude to pursue the study of Law. Candidates should go through the exam pattern very carefully and understand what is expected out of them.
TS LAWCET will have a total of 120 questions. The Questions will be objective type including multiple choices questions. Candidates are expected to complete the test in 90 minutes. Maximum marks which can be scored by any candidate are 120.
The TS LAWCET Test consists of three parts.
Part – A: Consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks: General Knowledge and Mental Ability.
Part – B: Consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks: Current Affairs.
Part – C: Consists of 60 questions carrying 60 marks: Aptitude for the Study of Law.
For 5 year Law Course, the standard expected is of Intermediate level/10+2 and for 3 year Law Course, the standard expected is of Degree Level.
TS LAWCET 2024 Application Form
Application form filing is a very crucial step of the examination process. Candidates should read the form carefully and fill in the details accordingly. Try to avoid making mistakes in filing the application form. The application form of TS LAWCET 2024 has been released via online mode on the website. The TS LAWCET application form is made available from 1st March 2024 .
Steps to fill Application Form of TS LAWCET 2024
- Step 1: Application should be submitted only in online mode
- Step 2: Fill in the required details
- Step 3: Upload the scanned documents such as signature & photograph in the JPG/JPEG format.
- Step 4: After filling asked details and uploading the images, submit the application fee
- Step 5: After paying the fees don’t forget to take printout of the confirmation page.
- Also keep in mind that a correction correction facility to rectify mistakes (if any) in the application form has also been provided

For 3 Year LLB Course
Candidates for the three-year LL. B course must have completed any graduate degree (10+2+3) from an accredited university or its equivalent with an aggregate score of 45% for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST candidates
For 5 Year LLB Course
The two-year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% of the total marks for the general category and 40% for SC/ST,
TS LAWCET 2024 Regional Test Centres
There are many regional test centres available for TS LAWCET 2024. Candidates should keep in mind that at the time of filing the application form, they will be asked for their preference. Candidates should select the most preferable centre depending on the duration and time it takes to reach the centre. While filling the application form, regional Centers will be displayed based on the availability and once it has reached the maximum capacity then the center will not be displayed in application form .
