CLAT 2021 Exam Postponed

CLAT 2021 – Consortium of NLU has extended the last date to apply for CLAT 2021 until May 15, 2021, due to COVID-19 outbreak and the lockdown. The admit card for the exam will release either in May end or starting of June.
Earlier, CLAT 2021 exam was scheduled to be conducted on June 13, 2021. It is the biggest national level law exam, for admission of 10+2 passes / appearing students in LLB, LLB 5 year Integrated, LLM, etc. courses. For UG law admission CLAT UG is held and admission on PG law courses is done on the basis of CLAT PG. In the exam, 150 questions are asked and candidates get 2 hours to solve it.
CLAT 2021 has been postponed and last date to apply extended until May 15, 2021.
The CLAT 2021 aspirants have been given a few more days to complete the CLAT 2021 application form. This is the second time that the Consortium of NLU has extended the last date to fill the form due to COVID-19. Before this, the last date to apply was extended from March 31, 2021 to April 25, 2021.
Due to countrywide lockdown because of COVID – 19, Consortium of NLU has postponed CLAT 2021 and also, extended the last date to fill the CLAT 2021 Application Form.

What’s New in CLAT 2021?
Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is one of the top law entrance exams conducted to shortlist candidates for admission in top ranked national law schools in the country. However, various changes have been reported this year by NLUs in an official press release.
1) Website – The website for CLAT has been changed and the address of the new website is consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
2) Number of questions – The number of questions in CLAT has been reduced from 150 from 200.
3) Questions in CLAT UG and PG entrance exam – Now, comprehension-based questions will also be asked from Quantitative Techniques, English, Current Affairs, Deductive Reasoning and Logical Reasoning.
4) Cutoff marks – There is a possibility that Consortium might introduce cut off marks for LLM admission.
